A presentation about Leni Riefenstahl




Our representation is talking about Leni Riefenstahl, she was a German film director who widely known for directing the Nazi propaganda film “Triumph of the Will”. She the one who fallen in love with the art field. She liked to paint and write poetry when she was four years-old. When she grew up, Her dream was to be a dancer.  Unfortunately, she got foot injuries too serious to quit dancing. Because of the accident, she began to focus on the cinema and love it. She received a package from Dr. Fanck which was a script to Arnold Fanck’s “Der Heilige Berg.” And then, She made a series of films for Arnold Fanck. He trained her very well and also taught her ways to go about editing a film. She was one of close friend with Adolf Hitler. “Triumph of the Will “ contains excerpts from speeches given by Nazi leaders at the Congress including Adolf Hitler, Rudolf Hess and Julius Streicher, this film is order to publicize the highest honor of Nazi. The film gave Riefenstahl instant and lasting international fame, as well as infamy. Because she had a close relationship with Nazi, that destroyed her film career following Germany's defeat in World War II. She is also a famous director about Documentary, as such “Impressions of the deep” was her last film which premiered in Berlin when a few days before her 100th birthday.
