Portrait of Krzysztof Kieślowski

Kieślowski is a Polish director. When he was young, he wanted to be a theatre director. Since there was no such facilities at that time, he couldn't study what he wanted, so he chose film as his temporary step. At the beginning of his career, he was shooting documentary. After that, he started directing some feature films. The most famous films were the trilogy Three Colours, which were very different and interesting in the angles of views.
The titles of the trilogy were derived from the national flag of France. On the surface, they're different stories, but actually, these stories are related to each other(in some details). The relation between these stories and the shooting technique he used are the two main topics we want to discuss about.
