The scene of this film set in France 1980s, involving  several parts, all of them surround a little boy and the problem of society , life of school, the friendship, etc. Maybe the rhythm of the film is a little be slow, but the director characterize the society with reality, they are the people who live in the past, their life might be hard. They have no choice but accept those situations, however,they are optimistic. The director may want to illustrate a story about himself, or to explain for audience that the concept ‘’c’est la vie’’, these kinds of stories in fact exist in every era.

This film shoot in a way that is close to our daily life, without exaggerated narration or those grand scenes, but creating a sense of resonance with the audience.It make us know that we should always face different incidents everyday,we usually find out some hardships in our life,but there are happinesses behind them.
