Feedback - Chroniques d’une cour de récré

Since there are not many European movies played in theaters in Taiwan, we may be unfamiliar with the style of this France movie. However, watching the movie is considered as a new experience to us and we really enjoy watching it.
Despite the fact that the movie is a little bit difficult for us to understand, we think we can still easily figure out that the crane hanging bottles near the factory play an important role. In our opinion, it symbolizes the dreams of the characters. When it was knocked down, the whole story then began to face some turning points.
We really like the way the director shows some of the scenes. By using the photos which seemed to be taken by the young Brahim, the film made us feel like we were the boy, we could see the world of him in his perspective and also through his camera without any photographic plates. Although in the end, we could not know clearly how Brahim actually feel because of the lack of ups and downs, we could still tell that Brahim found his passion in photographing.
Eventually, we think we all have increased our interests in European films. We were frustrated of being hard to fully figure out what the director really want to tell, but we found it fun while trying to understand. We hope that we can all see more kinds of films in the future in order to boost our own ability of thinking and see the world in different point of view.
